Flagstaff Downtowner Motel sign

Flag is a classic American small town. You roll in through dreary industrial zones and wonder why you drove 200 miles (320 km) in a rental for this. But like peeling an onion, layer after layer of fascinating scenes and people reveal themselves. After one day in Flagstaff, I didn’t want to leave. This radio tower was so quintessentially Americana, I had to shoot it.
